If I recall correctly he got the Jon747 account from Violtak (I think) who got it from Jon747. They each passed it on to someone who was already proving themself willing to mass upload stuff on youtube as they themselves stopped uploading. They were tl posters but tl didn't actually arrange any part of it, he proved himself on youtube by uploading a lot of stuff, not on tl.

Whereas nevake offered his account to tl in the topic I made pooling resources for the replacement of baezzi.

I agree baezzi is bat shit insane but he doesn't owe us anything. Unless Jon747 wants the account back it's his.

I assume you're calling out chava's calling out of Baezzi so I'll comment here.

Uploading VODs when you have a reliable source isn't that hard. I know, I used to do it for the TL tracker. Sure I didn't upload Proleague VODs, but my connection was a lot slower and my computer space was kind of limited so I just didn't feel it worth the bandwidth (and there wasn't a great demand for them back in the day). But seriously, uploading VODs "fast" is like this:

1.) Click a few buttons to open up a window where you would download said VODs (for me a clubbox page way back in the day, for Baezzi apparently oskyloveo's webpage).
2.) Refresh every once in awhile until you see the VODs up.
3.) Begin downloading VODs.
4.) Come back in (hours) minutes when the downloads finish.
5.) Rename as you feel appropriate
6.) Click a few more buttons.

That's all it takes. Seriously it's just a couple of clicks and a few seconds taken to refresh the page. It's not that challenging of a task. Sure, the time adds up, but it's not that hard/draining as you appear to make it out to be. Of course Baezzi should be congratulated for doing it consistently; howerver, we should also not forget the transgressions he has done to TL by stealing a director account. Luckily nevake stepped in and provided us with another one and I put my faith in zatic to change a few things and create a much sexier channel for TL and non-Korean Starcraft fans.

Edit: Thank you very much to the person from wfbrood's site system that posted how to watch VODs on that website. It'll be a great help to the people who like fast VODs.

I doubt you would be as 1/100 as dedicated as Baezzi. He has been uploading for some time now, and is quite punctual with his uploads. If you're volunteering to take his place, you're more than welcome. If you're not replacing Baezzi, then please don't criticize his dedication and effort.

While I agree that the source is the actual bottleneck uploading to youtube is way more annoying than adding a torrent to a tracker. It's actually so much grind work that I almost can't believe Baezzi did this for so long. Actually maybe that's how he got insane haha.

I coded a bunch of tools that help with the process without those I would never be able to upload that much. Actually just uploading the TSL Vods once a week is already so annoying I can't imagine doing that every day good god.

Its pretty funny that Mighty Teamliquid.net with all its power and minions cant upload SC videos with the numbers, reliability or speed that one questionably sane korean can.

Granted, i've only been with the scene for just about a year now, and only with TL for half of that, but from what i've seen the jon747 account is faster and more reliable than nevake, and additionally includes stuff like Fpvods and what not. Am I missing something?

Until last summer nevake has been consistently faster with PL and MSL (usually VODs were up couple of minutes after the live game), and about as fast with OSL vods. Then our own VOD sources went down / got unreliable and that's where we are now. Again, it all depends on reliable sources, if I have those I can upload to Youtube in no time.

Thanks Zatic. We definitely appreciate your effort on this. There is no doubt alot of work and dedication involved in uploading those VODs and people should really appreciate this.

To those who would belittle Zatic's effort or Baezzi's effort, we would like to see you fill their shoes. That probably won't happen, because you wouldn't be able to do 1/10 of what they do, or last 1/10 as long as they have.

I read the whole thread. I still don't have any problem with him and would toss him 20 USD via PayPal if he kept uploading. He doesn't like TL because of discussions on here he didn't agree with and didn't want you to use vods he uploaded. What a crime. What a horrible person.
