Well the singing in this version is much nicer, but I don't think the acoustic sound suits this song.
Some people are being pretty harsh about the singing, it's not like their professionals. Just because you're used to hearing perfectly tuned studio voices doesn't make the vocals in this amateur parody horrid.
the acoustic version was WAY better. Your song is great, but the youtube version was horrible and painful to listen to but I was laughing because the lyrics were so good and the singing was so bad. Now all you need to do is slap on some autotune....
Also, there's no reason for people not to expect quality, either is good or its bad, its not like they're running a charity for blind praise.

That being said, I like the first version of DTs on top better than the second, which sounds very indie-ish to me... which just doesn't work for a song like Tik Tok.

acoustic means without electronic amplification, ie: unplugged. I think you're mixing your words up. What you meant to say was you want this dudes singing with the backing track of the OP. Right?

Hey guys, just got the link to this thread from a friend. I wanted to make an acoustic version just for a bit of variety and I'm glad a few of you like it. I didn't want to just have a version with me singing over the Kesha backing track cos I feel like that has been done already. Also, I know an acoustic version isn't really "appropriate", which is sort of why I think it's funny- like when you hear an acoustic cover of a death metal band or whatever?
Also, come on, my version has me singing like 5 part harmony, that's gotta be worth something.
