Teamliquid Link for Energies' WCG 2009 Replays (No Stage Matches)
http://www.teamliquid.net/staff/pachi/reup/WCG09ReplaysNoStage.rar

The WCG 2009 event was great and a lot of people asked for replays, well they have been released and thanks to wcg releasing them a lot earlier than usual. I made a pack so you don't have to download one by one. Have fun watching!

Highlights of the event include:
- Bisu[Shield] against PJ on Tau Cross
- A2 against Jaedong on Tau Cross

I didn't really focus on the event so I don't know many highlights but you can list yours.

Update!! FULL PACK NOW

Finals are released on the official site already, but this pack is great for not having to get each group game one by one.

Thanks for pack.

That'd be great, i'll update OP once you do. I did try but I may have missed some. I hope not but that 3 second delay probably messed me over.

I was completely confused by this as well. I've seen Idra gg because he seemed frustrated in the past and knew he could win the next games. I think he might have done that here and got caught off guard in the second game.

On the topic of the second game, how did kolll win so easily? I've seen idra vs this type of build before and it doesn't seem a huge problem to him. Why was it that kolll was able to win so easily? Did he just play that well or is there some other reason I cant see because im not experienced in TvZ

Bisu deleted all the replays from his computer. We managed to recover them though.

I'm pretty sure with the exception of third place and finals I have all the original replays, let me know if any are missing or corrupted, and I'll try to re-upload them.

If you guys are referring to the inability to open some of the replays. I believe that is due to the fact that some of the replays were manually named as the players were not naming them.

As a consequence some of the names are too big and Starcraft will not open them. Just rename the replays to smaller names.

@Energies

Most of the Jaedong group stage replays and other replays are corrupted / unreadable. Thats not a problem with the name length but another one. Never had that problem on a replay o.o Dunno how to solve that

Corrupted Replays:

BRAT_OK vs Fengzi
BRAT_OK vs jonhrambo
Cloud vs Draco
Cloud vs Fenix
Cloud vs Louder
Fengzi vs Gosi[Terran]
Fengzi vs johnrambo
Fengzi vs Tosky
Fenix vs Koll
Gosi[Terran] vs tOsky
Jaedong vs Cloud
Jaedong vs Fenix
Jaedong vs Koll
Jaedong vs Lauder
johnrambo vs Sen
Sen vs tOsky
Stork vs Gosi[Terran]
Stork vs johnrambo
Stork vs Sen
Stork vs tOsKY

Could you reupload them if it's possible?

Because Idra has still not learned to control his pride and to simply take frustration in stride and play it out.

i think it was the fact that idra knew that kolll had secured bottom right corner and could do nothing about it with ultraling army in the making (i think it was about to turn into 5-2 ultralisk under a minute) and he would pretty much run over idra. idra had hes main drained and third operational (no extra expansions).

i might have missed something, watched it from kollls POV.

There are potentially double ups due to naming inconstancy, but I'm confident all replays with the exception of all stage matches are in that bundle and are working.

Let me know if there are any issues, I'll try and source missing and corrupt files.

Enjoy.

Finally I could watch the Koll vs Idra series! Pretty straight-up games, I was surprised to see Idra gg both times. Koll has some damn nice muta micro, and some smart expansion policies, I'm curious to see him in the TSL

edit: nm, i see many mentioned the corruption issue already.

Indeed, I could view the Koll vs JD game with the version in your pack, thanks.

Koll, while outclassed, put up a decent fight vs JD too, I think that zvz might be very dangerous in the foreign scene too

Download WinRAR, install "unzip" and enjoy the replays :D

Why did Idra give up in the Colloseum game? That was far from over.

from a terran view : Ultralisk+ defiler+lurker+ 3-4 zerg's expansions = GG

even if u are with 3 expos, or whatever your "advantages" are.

Zergs are so gay, defending his expos, with 3-4 lurkers and 1 defiler

Dimaga had the same style xD

I definitely think that Idra's gg was premature. Yes, Kolll was ahead in bases, but his worker saturation was pretty poor, so Kolll's economic lead wasn't as clear as it seemed.
Idra was definitely behind, but he certainly wasn't beaten.

I finally get to see the reps of Idra vs Kolll.
Idra politely GG's at the end of each game... with no extra comments.

I thought that was really great. Losing is so fucking hard sometimes.
+1 for IdrA in my book.

Why are there still replays missing? It can't be that hard to collect those replays in a game that saves them automatically...

The WCG rules even state that it is mandatory for the players to wait for a referee to save the replay.
