Notes:

I attended the Nate MSL group selection tonight at LOOX MBC Hero Center. I was using my new camera for the first time at an event like this so I hope people can see the difference a couple of extra thousand dollars has made in my photos. I need to work on my composition, but tonight I just wanted to practice.

It's 1am here in Seoul so apologies for any errors in this post. Please check out part two which will be posted soon.

Oh god, Stork in those last two pics is full of win. But I'm not sure what to do when I see Crazy-Hydra: Laugh or Cringe in fear?

Anyway, I really love these pics nevergg, I dont know if it's the camera or not but they are fucking amazing. I'm no professional photographer, but I still think the pictures looks really... balanced when it comes to the hue and lighting, if that makes any sense?

Thanks for the explanation. I'm planning to go to South Korea next summer, so I probably should read some stuff about its cultural customs beforehand. It seems really very different from what we in the West are used to, noone of the people seems really to care or bother. Tolerance is actually a great thing, but really very confusing for a non-corean I suppose :D

how does he look like that? He's just sitting there. is that the reason? I haven't seen a lot of down syndrome retards... but I always imagined them to look different. Are you just mad cause Shine stabbed you in the back with your favorite "dagger"?

I guess the retards are the people who cross-dressed to try to get attention... I've got no respect for that. It wasn't a dress code or anything. If they lost a bet to team members and had to do it, I guess I'm cool with it.

I am 100% sure cross dressing is treated the same as it is in North American cultures. Yeah its good for a laugh here and there in the right venues and situations... but under normal circumstances its just weird...

yes, these photos look really good, colorful (although that might be negative for photos containing hite jackets!) and detailed. calm with blue backlight looks extra cool.

Wow - Crazy Hydra's costume provoked some strong reactions. My friend from the STX fanclub was there and she's got friends in the Woongjin camp. The low-down on his concept was - a fan suggested that he parodied one of the recent pop songs (I totally forgot what he danced to.) and the team accepted the idea. However, apparently it was the players who added the cross-dressing element!

As a first-timer he was the opening person for the whole event so I think he wanted to leave a strong impression. However, he lost the MVP vote to BeSt because he got a huge sympathy vote from the crowd for all he had to go through during the draft.

There were only a tiny handful of ceremonies all night which was very disappointing for me as a photographer. Compared to Avalon's selection night a lot of the players only bowed and so the photos were a bit boring to take/see.

Thank you for all the comments and I hope to provide good photos tonight. The new MSL banner is so cute ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.
