Updated for week 2. You might need to refresh as I just upload new versions of the same files.

Oz still about 2 games ahead, SKT re-takes number 2 spot but CJ is right on their heels. STX is 4-0 so far but has yet to play Oz, CJ, SKT, or KHAN, so they shot up some places that I expect them to drop eventually.

I also added in a graphic that shows the game wins from each match this round, kind of like the one they show during proleague sometimes. Its the 12x12 chart just above results lists.

So we have Hwaseung with 31 wins and 8 remaining games, SKTT1 with 30 wins and 7 remaining games, as well as CJ with 29 wins and 7 remaining games, going to be very hard for either T1 or CJ to claim first spot. Very close game differentials as well. This is exciting

I don't think any of the teams ranked lower than #6 will break through into top 6

I wanted to do one of those things where you calculate the percentage chance each team has of making playoffs, given matches left and stuff, but it ends up having a pretty uninteresting conclusion because of that. Theres a 3.5 match difference between 6th and 7th, and even if the MagicNs did rally and get into playoffs they aren't in great shape in a bo7 vs any other team.

I might still do it regardless because the value of places 1 and 2 is different than places 3-6, and the race for #2 is really close.

What the hell kind of system lets half the teams into a playoff tournament anyway.

So it's interesting for me to start speculating:

What maps are they going to use in the playoffs? This round only has 6. There were a total of 15 (18 counting the originals: Harmony, Medusa, Chupung-Ryeong). We know 1 is never going to come back (Hi Battle Royal!).

What maps would you want to see?

I'd like something along the lines of Tau Cross, Shades of Twilight, Sin Chupung-Ryeong, God's Garden, Outsider, Destination, Neo Medusa, Neo Harmony, and Colosseum 2 as a map pool for the playoffs, personally.

Unless Khan goes on a massive losing streak or STX implodes, I sadly don't see KTF winning this, even if they win every one of their games. Kind of upsetting.

It looks like KT dug themselves too deep a hole in the early rounds to crawl back out of. It's really sad since they finally have a team outside of just Flash.
