Nothing too interesting, Oz gets their 2 match lead back and STX is still undefeated, Places 1-4 all have the same R5 record. MagicNs probably aren't making the cut, but it remains a remote possibility if the stars align just right.

I'd really like to see KT making it though ![]()

also, KT still have to play 4 out of 6 teams ranked above them (oz, t1, khan & stx).

2. SKT 32-19 (4 matches left) 3. Hite 30-20 (5 matches left) 4. CJ 30-21 (4 matches left) 5. STX 29-21 (5 matches left, including vs WeMade tomorrow) 6. KHAN 28-22 (5 matches left) 7. KT 26-24 (5 matches left, including vs eSTRO tomorrow) 8. WStars 25-25 (5 matches left) 9. MBC 23-28 (4 matches left) 10. WeMade 20-30 (5 matches left, including vs STX tomorrow) 11. eSTRO 18-32 (5 matches left, including vs KT tomorrow) 12. ACE 9-42 (4 matches left) Much of the final ranking is not decided yet, except that MBC, WeMade, eSTRO and ACE 9-42 have no way of reaching the playoffs. Woongjin still have a mathematical chance to reach the playoffs, but it's incredibly unlikely. Basically they can reach playoffs if they go 4-1, KHAN goes 0-5 and KT at most 2-3 OR if they go 5-0, KHAN at most 1-4 and KT at most 3-2 KT. KHAN and KT also still have to play each other, so one of them has a guaranteed win anyway. This should account for almost all of the theoretical possibilities. Woongjin has a worse game differential than KHAN and KT, so with equal win/loss they'd get ranked lower due to game differential. Maybe there's some theoretical chance of Woongjin reaching higher game differential, while having equal win/loss, but for that to happen there would be the additional requirements of Woongjin winning like all their matches 3-0 and KHAN/KT losing like all of theirs 0-3. I can't be bothered to check this in detail though.

(Winners League was technically also a round robin and also counts towards the final ranking, so it might be better to call it 5 round robin rounds). To avoid confusion: "Winner vs First Place" means winner of playoffs vs first ranked. Basically being ranked first means you have to win one more match to be champion. Being ranked second you have to win 2 and being ranked 3-6 you have to win 4.

I think the winner of that match will take the playoff spot.

WE HAVE A NEW NUMBER ONE, WHAT UP Thats actually only half true, Oz has more matches to go than SKT so they're probably about a half game ahead. STX is 7-0 and might actually take number 2 in the standings, given who they have left to play. R&S ARTICLE TOMORROW PROBABLY WITH POST SEASON STUFF. also this playoff format is literally the most absurd thing ever

IMO SKT1 shouldn't be on top until they have the same games left as Oz with the same standing and holy crap STX is wrecking everyone - looking forward to watching these guys

Also I ran a model that predicts standings at the end of R5 based on past match performance, and it had STX at number 2. They have a good record vs all their remaining opponents so something like 10-1 is actually possible.
