Wow thanks asswipe. I hope you fucking burn in hell. I just took my road test again and guess what, failed again. As much as I'm pretty sure I would have passed with any other instructor last time, I can't say for sure. This time, however, I KNOW it wasn't my fault.
If you haven't read my other blog entry here, read it first.
This is how it goes. I go in for my road test again. I have the same asshole as before. I think "whatever, all I have to do is make sure I don't do what he calls rolling stops and I'm set." No, no, no. It doesn't go like that at all this time.
First thing's first. I ask him what he classifies as a rolling stop in relation to last time. He says I only need to come to a complete stop once, and stopping again would be pointless even if I inch up. Okay, I don't think I actually did any rolling stops last time, but that is in the past now.
I'm about 5 minutes in and everything is going fine. I approach a 4-way stop and there is one car there already, and another one, other than me, approaching as well. I come to a complete stop and wait for the first guy to go. After he goes I start going and the other fucking asshole approaching the intersection goes first and cuts me off. As he is doing this I'm just slamming my foot on the break and the instructor shouts "STOP." Okay, reasonable I guess. I mean, even with the right of way I'm obviously not going to keep going and hit him. So the asshole stops halfway through the intersection and apologizes and waves me though.
The rest of the test is irrelevant. I do really good basically. I get to the end and I'm waiting in the car with him for like 2 minutes of silence and he says "Once again, you didn't make it." Here I thought I just had a series of missed shoulder checks, wrong lane placement or something, but he says "You would have passed if it weren't for that 4-way stop." So I say "Excuse me, but I was 99% sure I had the right of way. I stopped before him. What exactly did I do wrong?"
"Well I had to shout out STOP."
"Yeah but I was just in the process of slamming on the breaks as you said it. I wasn't going to keep going and hit him."
"You should have yielded to him."
"Why??? I stopped first."
"Oh, well I didn't see that really. I wasn't looking at who stopped first. It's actually my fault for not paying attention."
(WELL THAT'S JUST FUCKING GREAT. WAY TO DO YOUR JOB ASSHOLE)
"Also you didn't do enough to make you fail, but you had a couple rolling stops."
"I'm don't recall any of them. You said I was allowed to inch up without stopping again if I can't see right?"
"No, you have to stop again."
(WHAT THE FUCK YOU SAID I DIDN'T HAVE TO AT THE BEGINNING WHEN I ASKED YOU BITCH)

"If you like, you can request a different instructor next time."
Oh I fucking will, I fucking will. I want to kill his family infront of him and then torture him slowly. FML

I hear a lot of stories like this. Considering all the bad drivers on the road, you'd think they might test on relevant characteristics rather than making things up.

I did my maneuverability test at like 1 MPH hah. But all that is required is not hitting anything.

This for your N or to get rid of it? I assume the former. I need to retake my N test because I had a bitch instructor. -_-
Also, I don't know what the wait is like where you are but to book a road test is usually like 3 fucking months here. If you fail once you have to wait fucking forever. Unless you try the whole waiting for no-shows thing for hours, which I'm considering. Any advice?

The people on the road who will kill you aren't the people who take the right of way. The people who will kill you are the people who wave you on with a smile as you roll into oncoming traffic. You did the right thing. Just know incompetence is everywhere.

Yeah I would talk to his superior. Ask him to compare the pass rate for him versus the rest of the instructors. With that data it should be abundantly clear that he's not doing his job properly.

It's for my N. I'm sure the next one available isn't till the end of July now. My friend booked his weeks ago and he got July 3rd... I've never tried the waiting for no-shows thing.

That sounds aweful. Well you will pass eventually. And look at the brightside. In germany just the roadtest costs around 200€ (I guess sth like 250US$), let alone all the driving lessons you have to take mandatorily. Your road tests are really cheap over there

I hate these driving instructors and cops.
These two types of people think they're the "boss".
Plus, they work slow as hell.
My appointment for my driving test was 3PM.
I waited for at least 2 hours and I went around 5PM.
Then my person was just mean and at the end I failed because I was "too slow."
I did everything fine but I was going too slow.

Your instructor sucks. Go to a different DMV or ask for another one because if I were in your position, I mighta been in jail by now for murder.
