So I'm pretty pissed now. I had my road test this morning. Overall at the end I think I did really well. I parked, and the first thing he says is "Well... You didn't make it." My heart basically dropped. I was like "Oh... Really?"
"What do you think you did wrong?"
"Hmm... Well I was usually driving about 40-45 in the 50 zones... Um.. I probably should have waited longer that one time in a right hand turn."
"Nope. You did this a lot. Any ideas?"
Honestly I had no clue wtf he was talking about. I thought I did almost perfect.
"Errm... Not really. What did I do?"
"Rolling stops."
"Huh?"
"How many do you think you did?"
This really fucking pissed me off. Rolling stops? I am 99% sure I came to a complete stop every time and waited at least a full second or two.
"???... Maybe like 1 or 2...?"
"Eight."

Fucking hell. The test fee was 35$, so I have to pay another 35$ when I re-take it but I could care less. The thing that's really pissing me off is that I wanted it for this weekend because my graduation is this weekend. Now I have to wait 2 weeks.

3 or more and you fail for left. 4 or more if you fail for right. So the limits are 2 and 3. I had 3 and 4 apparently. Along with 1 rollings stop for going straight. I didn't fail the section for going straight though. The limit for it was was like 4 or something and I only had 1.
So overall I did 8 rolling stops, 7 of which only mattered.

isn't your first G2 road test free if you have your G1 license?
but yeah i did my test like 2 months ago almost and I was nervous as hell, i feel bad for you, sucks to have to do that twice

I think that is only through a driver's ed program. I remember something like that.
I failed my first test because I thought it would be easier if I took it out of the city but the shitty ass town didn't have any road markings at all and I had some retarded hicks in front of me swerving across the road to hit puddles (it was during spring time) and she made me do literally everything.
Then I just took it downtown and they were like ok drive around the block cool no one died here's your license drive faster in the future.
I have to retake the whole thing because I never got my G before my G2 expired (I wasn't around to take it) but I haven't bothered in a few years because I got used to not driving

you probably what we did in california..  most people over here will partially stop or slow down to a crawl and then continue on. you probably did something along those lines and not a COMPLETE stop

I failed my first driving test the same way, except it was just one. At the very beginning of the test I turned on my signal, stopped at a stop sign, looked right, looked left, looked right, then turned right.
"You rolled through that stop sign."

I actually hate people who do rolling stops, so I'm happy they're anal about this. It's as simple as stopping and looking both ways, but damned if the idiots where I live can be bothered.
