EPTThe most overrated, over-loved-by-the-execs, underperforming person at my work is leaving this week, such a huge fuck yea for all of use that aren't irrationally in love with her. Goodbye party is tonight, it is gonna be a good one.
Holiday on Monday, taking off Friday, plan to spend a good part of my four day weekend pedaling from bar to bar along the beach on my new cruiser that I scored for almost half off from craigslist from a guy that bought it and then got a job out of state.
And I get to share a new mix with you guys! I'm really happy with this one, it came together quite well and begs for repeat listens. Most of the tracks are from the last couple years, only track from the 90's is the Boards of Canada I think. Yes BoC snuck in again... I got a little worried that I'd been overusing them but I went through and counted and this is only the 5th time. Maybe that is overusing but I thought it was going to be a lot more so I'm happy. I don't deliberately focus too much on artist variety between the mixes but I certainly don't want them to be too samey. If a good track fits I gotta put it in there though.
Anyways.... enjoy it! Your head will nod and your bass buds will delighted.
Also, I've started uploading the older mixes in higher quality, they're marked in the list. It is pretty nice how easy mediafire makes it to update a file, I was afraid I wouldn't get to keep the same urls.
