What makes The Bad Plus different is that they have fun with what they do and express themselves. The music they produce stands out with emotion and energy.

The majority of their videos on youtube are live. They do a fantastic live set and I encourage anyone who hasn't been to a show to go see one.

I'm not trying to advertise this band at all. My goal is to have somebody stretch his music tastes. The bass player Reid Anderson says "If people don't like our music, that's perfectly legitimate." So listen to a few tracks and try something new.
There are tons of great songs that The Bad Plus produces. Some of their best songs aren't on youtube however. However my personal favorite is on youtube so I'll leave with this:
