I just find that I make so many silly mistakes.. like being unable to macro and micro at the same time i.e, PvP.
Not much of a useful blog but hey.. really feeling so off right now. Oh well.

To beat D level during non-Korean time all you need is the ability to counter builds with scouting and a little macro mechanics, when it comes to P or T. Most players at D are missing a lot of game fundamentals - so if you can't get out of D, I suggest you look at those first, like your BO and hotkeys.

I just can't get myself to watch my replays. Seeing myself lose again is really hard. And yes.. I used to play terran. Just having fun with protoss for a while. Not likely to switch back to terran any time soon. I had a PvP earlier where I thought I could have really taken it. The guy does a reaver harass that kinda catches me off guard. Didn't pick off that many probs but still hurt me quite bad. I had 2 reavers and like 12 goons. He went for an expansion. I killed all his goons and 2 out of his 5 reavers. I lost my own 2 reavers due to some micro mistakes and my macro was halted during the battle. At the end of the battle, I had close to 500 minerals that could have well been another 4 goons or so.. making my total goon count to around 7.. which would have so totally pwned him. If I didn't lose my reavers.. it would have been game too.

Every person who makes an ICCup frustration blog should have to provide evidence that they have STUDIED their replays and done all the other things I mentioned, because blogging for help should be the step that is taken after all of those fail, not when you decide to get lazy and not do all those things and then post on TL for sympathy, which you are currently not getting. You're not going to improve just because more time passes and you play games during that time, you need to push yourself AND play more games.

I dont get why everyone on teamliquid thinks that being good at starcraft is a requirement to be a fan and follow the scene or something.

To get to D+ all it took me was macro and a decent build order, nothing more, as D players can't macro for shit :/ I don't think hotkeys matter much at all at the D/D+ ranks, seeing as most of them have like 150 apm and don't know how to use them correctly, just macro and get D+ ezpz

However, assuming he is playing Protoss, let's see PvZ - if you macro to prepare for mutas you will be fucked if he hits you with dras. Hence you need to scout to counter builds. Hence you need solid BOs, which you also mentioned. The only thing you added to my post was that you think scouting is not important because D players can't macro (lol), that you think hotkeys are not important at D/D+ level (LOL), and that you disagree with me. Let me explain to you - scouting is always important. Hotkeys are always important, whether it be just for building good habits to making speedy macro/micro plays in the game. Thanks for contributing. I never said anything about BO's, and I just don't think hotkeys matter much at that level, I rarely used them. Your welcome, I love contributing.

The thing you can't do is just play a million thoughtless games and expect to get any better. I have friends who've played StarCraft for years and years, and they're still 30 apm nooblings. Why? Cause they don't try to fix the errors in their game play. They're happy doing the same thing over and over. Clearly you aren't, so snap out of it and start picking things to work on. Not just in StarCraft, but in any skill, practice means nothing without concentration and focused will to improve.

It would be awesome, some interesting thoughts i came up with are: there would be 0 peon harass in the game because any peon harass would result in the opponents peon instantly attack-moving the other peon to death. (well both peons would die at the same time if they tried to harass, not including scvs here) -Irradiate would suck against clumped mutas(would do 3 damage to each other muta before pulled away i think. -marines would destroy lurkers! 1 marine can take down a lurker without taking any damage if microed perfectly, any multiple spine attacks incoming on one marine would obviously result in a retreating marine. -9pool speed into followup builds would never be scouted with a probe. -lings would be so godly, they would run around in line formations with small zealot sized gaps between them(or goon sized) and surround zealots perfectly. -zerg would win every game lol. -there would only be 6 different starcraft games-1 for each matchup, since all are played perfectly, all would be played the same. lastly, i think players would play super defensively because the player would get an advantage in economy and break even with the fighting forces so that once a player attacked them, both armies with die in a close battle but the defensive player would have a bigger economy. Well, i guess starcraft is already like that. But in this case i dont think players would ever attack each other for like 30 minutes or ever lol.
