So i've been checking this game out.
WHAT THE FUCK.
Has anyone played this game before? Apparently there is a really hardcore community for it. For those who haven't, its like a turn base game, similar to civ but with a billion races which all have different stats and do different stuff with different abilities. AND 600 spells.*MIND CANNOT COMPUTE*
Graphics is really bad, like pixels but hey, it was made in 2007 and is more strategy based. Ugly pixelated strategy.
The gist is that your a PRETENDER GOD and there are other PRETENDER gods out there. You win when you become REAL GOD.
Sooooo, has anyone else played it and what did u guys think?
I REALLY like the game but it looks like it'd be years before i can really understand wtf is going on. So many formulas in the manual zzzz.

I played it and enjoyed it a lot once I understood it properly. It is a very complex game and the amount of stuff you have to do in one turn increases as the match progresses. Stopped playing when one turn started to take 2 hours on the larger maps.
I think any new player needs a guide to understand this game, and the manual that comes with it is OVER 90000 pages long, so not a starter guide at all. Try reading it's official website. They have plenty of usefull threads there, icluding guides for certain civilizations. I used to have the address but I deleted it when I gave up on the game  .
It is a indie game and I have a weak spot for interesting indie games. So that alone makes the game worth cheking out.

This game is sick sick sick. Easily worth 60$ or however much it costs.

You guys can even read some of my strat guides on there! I've written one for Patala, Jomon and Yomi as well as a few strategic posts here and there. I used to play with their crowd a LOT! I can't believe some of you guys actually know this xD.

i checked reviews and they were pretty good. looks ok but how long does it take to finish a game?

Single player, a day or two tops. Multiplayer. Many many month with your turns late game taking over 2-3 hours.
anyway here's what some consider one of my best guides on there. I've wrote to help get people started playing. Ignore Daynarr's "strategy" in the thread as most people have widely accepted he is a comp stomping idiot (hence the huge amounts of post deleted following his post).
