You see, its still a blog post because its about what's going on in my life!
I own an LG Rumor and long story short I climbed up a tree and cracked the screen. Now I need to know the button combination to get to the bluetooth on switch, get to the menu in the contacts that let's be send them out, and then turn the bluetooth back out. I need the button that will dump off all of the contacts?
Can anyone help me out?
EDIT: UPDATE
SO here's a quick lesson in my family dynamic: if you are my older brother and you break your phone, you get yelled at. If you are me and you break your phone, you get.....
The HTC Touch, ohhh snap!
Thanks for all of your guy's help, they just ended up plugging in a cable into the phone and pulling my contacts. Watch for future updates as I try to boot google android on this shit.
As for the tree story, I was playing cops and robbers in Lincoln park in Seattle, WA when this kid tried to run up these branches to backdoor the jail and shit. So I climb up after him, causing him to jump to this full tree about ten feet up. Soon he realizes that he is probably not going to survive this prediciment (in RL, not in gameworld) and procedes to freak the hell out. So I wait on the branches while he manages to get himself down. He get's away, ungrateful for the fact that I didn't get us both killed, and I learn that my phone is cracked. Lame
Thx mani for putting me on the front page! I thought you had just moved me to general. This is even cooler!

You know this question is going to come up sooner or later: wtf were you doing climbing a tree?
On-topic, I don't have the phone so I can't help you there.

you brave cat saver, I however cannot help you.
I suggest going to a phone store and actually asking if u can try out their phone (same model), most nice ppl will let you do it if u explain the situation to them.

I suppose you should be able to figure this one out using the manual. If you lost it somewhere try googling for it. If your google is also broken, here is the link: LG Rumor Manual

center, down, right, center, center, down x3,centerx2, up, center, end should turn on the bluetooth
center, right, center, up, center, enter - now it gets tricky, I dont have any bluetooth devices to connect to so i cant tell how to select the appropriate device, but i think it will just be center button, you should probably wait 10-15 secs to make sure it finds the b-tooth device

and with that last one, it might ask "are you sure you want to send contacts" or some crap like that, in which case it might already be on "yes" or you might have to hit up or down to select yes but your gonna have to trial and error that one to figure it out

Unlucky for you I work at a Verizon store and don't carry this model. Assuming you have Sprint, go to a store where they have the demo models or even a working model to be sold that you can open and play with.
Copy the motions on the new to the broke. Ez, Pz. Besides that, there should also be some kind of machine that Sprint uses to download data from phone to phone. Verizon usually doesn't charge for the data transfering dunno about sprint.

Just go to whatever carrier you have and have them transfer the contacts from your broken phone from your new phone. Bluetooth transferring is unnecessary. You can either do that, or if you don't have the new phone yet I believe they can place your contacts on a memory card like a microSD card temporarily. Best of luck sir.

I work at a RadioShack, and know that Sprint/AT&T offer the same service free of charge.
Your phone just needs the ability to turn on so they can get the contacts. If it can turn on (Which it sounds like it can since you are trying to access a menu) they can get your contacts and tranfer them.

Charlie, does Verizon even carry the Rant? I thought it was Sprint specific phone. Edit: Nvm, misread.
