I already knew this, but thank you for the well typed out reply and picture. I was talking more in terms of evolution thou, like the clit evolving after million of years into a penis or vise versa. I know it seems irrational because you need sperm + egg for sexual reproduction, but the first micro organisms reproduced asexually they had to have one or the other. I just wanted to know if there's any data/research indicating which came first. Kinda of like the chicken/egg question. | ||

I'm a bio major haha. :p But I don't think I'm articulating myself well enough to be understood. For example many millions of years ago we were all a slurry of primordial ooze. Then came single cell microorganisms. From this I'm wondering what came first the penis or the clitoris; seeing that in a fetus they're basically the same thing and need a special hormone to mature into either male of female genitalia. (As noted by LoosingID8. )I'm thinking in forms of actual evolution through millions of years. Like having the clitoris appear first and then from clitoris evolved the penis through some sort of mutation(s). While the clitoris stayed un-evolved the penis was derived/"evolved" from it. Or it could be vise-versa. That's actually the best I can word it, not sure if it's worth noting thou. | ||
