PC problem keywords: bios, motherboard, flashing

Epicfailguy Norway893 Posts April 02 2009 20:28 GMT #1 So I have a motherboard called Asus P5Q, and the only way I can make the computer boot, is to take out the battery and cut power untill the bios resets, and boot with some standard settings. Funny thing is that even though I shut down the computer with those settings, I still cant boot. Its just a black screen, and I gotta cut the power and reset the bios. This is getting quite annoying now, since I gotta do lots of bullshit in windows each and every time I boot the computer. Another thing is that I've seen lots of complaints about the newer bios versions from asus, as in not booting after flashing it, so if anyone got some experience with this, I'd be forever greatfull.
