I trust myself and go in, killing about a dozen SCVs, doing severe damage. In retrospect, I think I could have done more damage by going into his main and attacking his Barracks.
looks like you couldve ended the game right there if u did go in

not that it's saying anything too revolutionary, I'm sorry. im just curious as to how you went from wrecking his nat so early to almost losing the game at that fight it looks like you've just killed all his mnm and you still have a group of lings and 8 mutas left, i dunno how it's even possible to come back from that o_O What this guy said.

It's a blog, not a guide, and most people aren't progamers ... chill out guys. its hilarious how he talks about upgrading zergling speed like it's this incredibly gosu and subtle move NOBODY ever does. Even if he didn't mean it like that, that's how it sounds.

Even if he didn't mean it like that, that's how it sounds. stryker is less emphasizing the importance of ling speed than he is emphasizing the effectiveness of makinkg 12 speedlings to substitute for sunkens. 12 speedlings are amazingly strong. and for those of you saying i cant wait for a good terran to rape you or what not with firebats, thats pure bs. stryker isnt a noob like you are. if terran does some early game pressure, stryker smacks down 2 sunkens, and the entire pressure crap is over. stryker knows when to engage, hes not gonna attack if he sees firebats. he will simply put down 2 sunkens, and if terran decides to keep goiong and attack the sunkens, the sunkens combined with 12 lings from behind will DESTROY that force, and the inevitable mutas will just rape your base. yes this is a good idea. very economic 3 hatch builds are only asking for pressure and that pressure will make you waste more minerals anyway.

If they go 2 rax tech they will, if not you just adapt..What I mean is you want to aim for not making more than that, as in power drone but obviously it depends on what the Terran is doing..

Well, of course a zerg player should whore drones as much as their opponent allows in the early game, but getting ling speed after mutalisks is dangerous. Lings are used constantly throughout the game, and you seriously need speedlings around before mutalisks. The upgrade is so important, and it doesn't hinder you from producing the initial mutalisks and the following tech if you started mining from your first two gases at appropriate times.
