It's worth it to stock up. As far as I know tea does not get old for quite some time, at least I haven't experienced any diminishing of taste in several months.
Right now, I'm myself quite new to the world of "real" tea, I'm really interested in learing more I feel inspired by this thread to go out and find new and exciting blends/types of leaves.
