I am watching from:
http://www.cucirca.com/2007/05/06/watch-prison-break-online/
Sadly, megaVideo permits only 72minutes of airtime before you must take a 54 minute break. I am a bit pathetic in that I should probably sleep, but I feel no urge in leveling up my will-power because tomorrow is Friday and tomorrow is still vacation.
I will spend this next half hour typing up some thoughts.
//End Introduction
:Too much of a good thing is bad:
People say this sometimes. Mostly adults - personally, I've never said it.
However, I can think of some applications of it.
The one that comes to mind first (excluding Prison break which is the reason I thought of writing this) is love.
Not familial love / obligation, but love between guy/girl. I've never loved a girl , but I have been in love and it makes you act differently than you normally would for whatever mercurial reasons. Thinking in my head, I just realized what I'm writing may seem anti-marriage, but I still have 20minutes. (I have nothing against marriage, I am going to get married)
//IMO: {
When a guy + girl = say I love you, the love-o-meter rating is highest when it occurs the first time, and every time after a big negative incident. Basically, if you live a dull life and there's nothing going wrong, love gets a bit dull and you love a bit less. Drama is necessary.
//Economically:
Longer guy + girl are together, the larger diminishing returns (of love) they face. (Because they are older = not as hot as younger, and also because even the most amazing porn gets dull if you watch it over and over. This is not a very good explanation.)
I forgot what it is I'm trying to say. The high divorce rate of couples is empirical evidence.
}
2. I just came upon the realization of how stupid what I am writing is. It's not too much of a good thing is bad, it's too much of anything is bad.
Food, entertainment/luxury, emotions, power. //These I say with //full confidence fall under the 2much=bad clause which I'm going to abbreviate as 2m=b.
So I guess a more interesting question to pose is the contrapostive/reverse statement. I've never taken a logics class so forgive me if I'm misusing this word. But I guess what I am trying to say is :What is never too much of somthing?
Money? Love? Fame? Pride, hope, faith, work ethic, goodwill
The ones with question marks next to them I feel are quite debatable and fall in the middle somewhere. I would akin these to "Prison Break." Good to a certain extent.
Yay 54 minutes is up...I have more to say though.
I'll update this tomorrow or Saturday when I am once again faced with the 54minutes of anticipation...
