Being an idiot makes you fail at things, not smoking weed. Not only that, but like someone mentioned, kicking her high school kid out because he has a little J? Completely retarded, she sounds like the worst parent ever. Sorry to knock her, and it sounds like you (op) are pretty anti-weed anyway, but that is beyond absurd. Even if you detest weed and think it's the devil, you shouldn't kick a dependent child out of your house because of it. She shouldn't kick him out if she found out he was doing heroine, because it just means he needs help, and perhaps as his mother you should parent a little. | ||

I seriously doubt his step mom just kicked her son out just for smoking weed. I'd garner to say that he had other things going on as well that tied in with the smoking weed. Also just because she's his step mom doesn't mean she doesn't have the right to discipline him. It's a tough situation to step into being a step parent I'm sure. I mean yes the real mom should still be able to participate as well, but if he's living with his dad and step mom then his step mom imo has the right to act as his mom and discipline him as she feels fit, as long as it's not going over board and all. I know how it is to live with a step parent and all. But yeah you should just sit down with your dad, step mom, and yourself and just discuss things and try to work them out that way instead of all the stupid comments these people have been telling you. Also it's true that weed in itself isn't quite that bad, but smoking weed surely doesn't really help anything as well. | ||
