I stopped bringing pot home or allowing them to know when I'm high, that I do get high anything on the subject. Thats about all they could do and it was nice, funny thing is that I eventually (now) have more or less stopped smoking pot just because old age and contentment settled it.... I guess being a parent does that  dude, seriously thou call her out on it HARD HARD HARD. See before I was 18 I never smoked pot, but because I was a long haired rocker, bw player everybody assumed I was a stoner. One day the subject came up around the house, I said 'O Really?... Ok fine, lets go right now' and I went to yellowonline.com found the nearest center and off we went. Worst $150 my stepdad ever spent, the next time I said that my word was taken. | ||

 From what it sounds like, you don't sound like the kind of kid to be a pothead anyways, so just tell her you don't smoke weed, and just because her failure of a son was raised so badly by herself that she had to kick him out doesn't mean the same thing will happen with you. Basically just turn it on her so that instead of her looking for ways that you're fucking up, it's you telling her about how she was a failure as a mother. Avoid a direct confrontation that might explode, keep in mind you are going to be living with this person. As other people have pointed out, tell your father about it, any caring father would take steps to reduce tension here. If there has to be a direct confrontation, have your father there to mediate things. No matter what happens, don't take shots at her son, that will just spark more tension.
