So I was browsing throught some of my older movies, especially some that had awesome fighting scenes. Jean Claude Van-Damme is in alot of them, with some sick moves. Now I am looking for some more movies like this, that has some good fighting scenes in them. You might call me passive aggressive or something, but I just really enjoy watching good fighting scenes, doesnt really matter if the movie in itself sucks ass.
So far those I really recommand are:
Bloodsport : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092675/ I think is one of the best martial art fighting movies I have seen. This is man on man action ( not in the gay way) at its best. Van Damme has some sick moves in this movie, and there is quite a bit of fighting.
Kickboxer 1 : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097659/ Van Damme again, lots of great fighting in here as well Kickboxer 2+3 : not that good, but might be worth a watch.
No retreat no surrender: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089695/ Fairly old movie, with Van Damme as the bad guy for once, also quite some fighting scenes here, but I just hate watching Van Damme lose, just sucks.
Rocky 1-6 : Boxing at its best, dont really have to say much about these movies I think.
Never back Down: Fairly new movie, some good fighting scenes indeed.
So basically what I am looking for is any good fighting movies, but there is basically 2 criterias :
1: I dont care about storyline as long as there is some really kickass fighting 2: Dont want the "asian fighting movies, where 1 guy takes out like 30 guys at once without breaking a sweat, I hate these movies, they feel so fake its not even funny. Think there was one movie, where the main character took out like 30 monks, clearly trained in martial art with bats, and he took them all out alone, that is no fun to watch, so to be clear: I want one on one action !
If anyone has some good movies that I havent mentioned here, I would be grateful if you could point me in that direction.
Downloading 300 as we speak, so I guess some "battle movies" with weapons could also be cool"
