Well WoW addons are ... legalized by Blizzard, they try to integrate it into the game as much as possible. I can understand why they want to catch 3rd party program users (because most of them are hacks anyway) but I hate the fact they banned legit users too ;_; | ||

Blizz got greedy, trying to make more and more people to play WOW, thus encouraging using add ons is one way of doing it. While banning SC and WC3 regardless of reason is trying to get people to buy the game again and again thus helping them make more money. Blizz has changed from a great company into a greedy company, milking money from people in every possible way.... | ||

Addons are an amazing way to customize your WoW interface the way you like it, plus it's a way for creative people to share their amazing ideas, which later might be included into WoW default interface thus improving playing experience for everyone. Using 3rd party program is illegal (no matter what it is), so you use it at your own risk. I don't see you complaining about banned hackers and Blizzard doing best job against them out there. Sure it gets rid of hackers, further more, people who got wrongful banned and as well as hackers have to buy the game again to play. In the end more money for blizz.
