I saw this on 무한도전.
1. . . . . . . . . .
How can you touch all nine dots using only four lines? (you can't break and start at a different spot)
2. Andrew has two bottle of medicine to last him three days. Each bottle contains three tablets. He must take one of each medicine for each of the three days. On the second day, he accidentally spills the bottles and doesn't know which belongs to which bottle. They are all the same color and size and you can't differentiate between them with your eyes, or any other of the five senses. If he takes two of the same medicine or doesn't take one of each medicine in a day, he will die. How will he do it?
3. What letter is missing in this sequence? O T T _ F S S E
they're all pretty easy, i think tl can solve all three in less than fifteen minutes of my posting this

Riddle 1:
Riddle 3: F (One Two Three Four Five Six Seven Eight)
I'm too lazy to read the 2nd one in its entirety.

|
2. Breaking them in half?
|
you can't make both an x and a plus sign using only four lines without starting at a different spot from where you finished the line
gaetele already got it anyway

in riddle 2 it sais he will die if he takes no pills or 2 of the same, so he must only take 1 pill.
|
2:
-grind up all the pills in a blender or whatever. -eat half of it each day.
|
2. How many pills left, explain the condition better pls. Maybe a pic or char-drawing will do.
|
lxrogue: no... nytefish: elaborate lastwish: 2 of each pills left, meaning a total 4
he has to take one of each type
|
2 is break them all in half and take one half of each of the 4 pills per day.
|
Take the number 30, divide it by 1/2, and then add 10. What do you get?

Why doesn't grinding them up work?
If he mixes it well, you know its going to be 50% of each pill.
edit: well i guess breaking them in half works too, but thats harder to do!
|
yeah grinding them up should work as well although cutting them in half is probably easier ^^

I remember I asked my niece the first question and her reply was to make an extremely thick line that covers it all up. I marvel at her creativity...
