I've already tried to search for diets and eating habits, so I'd appreciate some quick feedback about my situation:
Lately, I've been eating a LOT less than I've used to. I think it might be because I've been trying a daily exercise routine for the past few months, but I simply don't get hungry, and I end up eating only 1 or 2 meals a day, sometimes with the occasional unhealthy snacks in between like chips and soda. What I want to know is, I know I should be eating at least 3 meals a day to keep a healthy metabolism going, but is there anything really wrong with eating less? I know very little about nutrition/diets, so any help would be great, thanks!

It's reccomended that you eat 3 meals a day. Think of them as small meals, don't stuff your face. Just eat a hand full of food and you should be fine. It's also reccomended that you eat 5 fruits a day, which I personally feel it's a lot to ask for. But I do tend to eat at least a fruit like a banana or apple because I usually have them stocked up. If you truely look at the size porportion it's really small and many people have a bad habit of over eating.
If you do everything right and exercise you shouldn't have a problem. In your case your body may just feel like not eating too much, which is okay. There's hardly any problems you can get from not eating 3 meals a day. I have a friend that's similar to your eating habits and he just eats very little. As long as you eat "healthy" and digest the recommend amount of nutrition it's okay.

Yeah 3 meals a day is the best. Try to eat more healthy foods, esp those without stuff like high fructose corn syrup. Soda is terrible if you are exercising, try something like soymilk which is way better for you.

If you're working out or simply wants to lose body fat you should eat 5-6 times a day, small protein-rich meals which speeds up your metabolism. Eating more times means your body gets more nutrition

Not to hijack the thread, but if I was searching to be more built (and gain some mass), would I have to drink protein shakes and shit or like beef jerky?
