Fyi, you should never take your car to a car wash if you actually want it properly washed and not just wet

Believe me I was keeping a close eye on what they did and how they did it. I'm thinking of alternating between washing it myself and bringing it to the car wash.

Oh, I figured it was one of the shitty automated drive-through washes. Obviously though you don't tip machines. A proper wash can take a couple of hours though, and it's usually dirty within another couple days anyway :<

The place I go has a pretty good automatic washing system, and then a guy goes around the car wiping it down, cleaning the glass inside/out, vacuuming, and smearing stuff on the tires.
And my car got dirty within 12 hours rofl.

My car is old, so I just take it to the hand wash place now, but back when it was still new (to me) I used to do it myself.

When I go to university there are "car guards" (basically, people that stand by a row of cars while you go to class) that will wash and polish your car for R10-R20, which is roughly 2-4$. Car always looks stunning afterwards, but I usually just pay our gardener to wash mine for roughly the same amount.

Hah, I wish my university police would actually look out for people stealing/backign into/smashing cars instead of being fat lazy fucks.
