Before I give my condolences to the brave group who take the time to play Zerg let me bore you with some backstory.

I started off as a Zerg user, then I found out about progaming and of course fell in love with Boxer, Nada and Xellos at the same time (I'm a slut I knoe D: ), thats a story for another time. So I became terran, after a brief stint with school realizing I'd be nice to graduate High School I came back and started playing Protoss. For the first time I actually had a 'complex' understanding of the game, timing, counters, build orders, knowing detailed weaknesses to builds even dabbled in mind games some. Recently, I hit and overcame and then ran into a now boulder of a problem C-, and above, Zergs. So I'm like I have 300+ replays of incontrol, 200+ of Mondragon I'll watch a few like I do my Stork, Bisu, Nony(long list of Toss foreigners) replays and try a few games. That didn't go so well to say the least.
You Zerg players are beasts, I can handle playing Terran, heck I managed to get to mid D+ on a TvT/TvP only account. When I played Zerg, I suddenly realized this shit is bananas. You guys can't constantly make workers or you run out of units, you guys can't tech all you want because it shits on your eco more than the rest of us, you guys can't make static defenses without cutting back your eco even MORE, you guys can't waste units even though you're arguable squishiest race, you dont have que's for buildings you have larva, you guys cant choose, like others, to wait for that convient unit callout 'im done lets rape shit' because there are 2 other larva waiting there. The first 3 minutes of the game makes or break and tells exactly what youre going to do. I mean, there's so much involved its inhuman to even consider playing Zerg.
I met a weak zerg player who for his life could not defend a 2gate(he did 9pool, 9overpool,12pool,12hatch basically everything) I saw him play a toss whols PvZ was laughable(and coming from me that says alot :D ) and I could see everything he did wrong. Me with my pro, 'typical protoss' self was like, its ok noob I'll show you how to win. I got beaten down more than he did, and thats when it all hit me, Zerg players, I love you guys and I'm glad you're Zerg because if you put all the dedication into any other race I wouldn't be able to win at ANY Matchups.

Anyways, I think some races just come easier to certain people than others.
For example, I always find terran and zerg much easier to use than protoss for some strange reason.
With terran and zerg, I can usually cruise to c-/c on iccup with no problem, but with protoss, I struggle to just hold a c- rank

allow is right though, i started playing P, and went k this is boring, then tried out terran cause zerg seemed too hard. terran i found to be alot hard to play, the armout of mirco needed ain battles and the apm needed just kills me, while with zerg i found this balance, i can keep up with most things, at least early game and can kinda hold my own late game aswell.
but i did find just learning how to manage zerg to be a totally differant experiance then the other races for the reasons you stated. and i gotta say your right

Yes, Zerg is quite a bit different from protoss and terran. The whole larva management is so important. While Protoss and Terran have buildings to produce SCVs and units, you can macro pretty well just to make sure that all your production buildings are pumping. You'll always be making workers AND military. But with zerg you choose one or the other, or make a delicate balance.
Think of it this way; your opponent is constantly pumping workers, regardless of whatever else he's doing (usually). With Zerg, every larva COULD be a drone. Every 2 lings could have been a drone instead, so you better use them well, and use them quickly. If you're just gonna let them sit around, you could have made the drone first and gotten lings later. And Zerg units look more expendable than other units, because they're "easily replenishable," but that's completely false. Every 2 lings you waste early is another 2 lings you're going to have to remake later, or even immediately, depending on the situation. Every 2 lings is a larva, and again, every larva COULD have been a drone.
It's sick.

I've been trying to move over to Zerg from Protoss, but it is becoming very difficult. After trying to learn Zerg I have a new respect for Zerg players.

I think zerg take the most experiance to handle above C/C+ (so many unique situations can be created by toss and terran that responding to them well takes alot of "oh 2port wraith, okay hydra/lurker, I got this" ... but I think terran takes by far the most visual accutey.... and protoss (imo) has to be the most clever (only strategically) because after all alot of their units are pretty counterable and one dimensional ... (except storm which sucks nowhat what color your skin is"

funny, cause as a zerg player, i always felt moe comfortable and fluid about the zerg because production can be done as instantaneously everywhere without being limited by the number of specific production buildings. just build ur tech, and larvae away. the opposite can be argued for specific production buliding races, but it's just a matter of prefernce and familiarity i think.
yea, the buliding queue and clicking individual building feels more of a hastle to me. it's waters of crossing over between terran and protoss is much more shallow than travelling back and forth to zerg.

As a zerg player I would add, that currently terran is the race that can freely lose units (even workers!!!) - check the recent TvZs... marines/medics can die - terran just macroes more; workers can die too - muta harass is anticipated..
I love playing versus zerg with any race; these are the best matchups!

Zerg isn't THAT hard... Its just the macro/gaming sense that is hard. After you get good at macro and make better decisions, it isnt that hard at all.
Low level: P>T>Z
Mid level: P=Z>T
High level: Z=T=P
Progamer: P>T>Z>P
Reason: Low level, zergs make bad decisions while protoss gets 2 base and mass zealot/goon to win. Protoss's macro / tech also pwns terran ( see DT/Reaver rushes). In TvZ, terran makes 20 marines and medics and 1 tank = GG from zerg.
Mid level: Protoss vs zerg is pretty balanced. At this level, im talking about around C-. Zerg can swarm + cracklign any expo they want and protoss can wine their ass off while zerg masses ultras behind mass lurkers. Since protoss's macro and micro isnt probably high level its pretty balanced since protoss have mass destruction units like templars, archons, and reavers. Again, at this level, protoss just mass expands and out micros the terran. Pretty same as low level for PvT. For ZvT, getting to swarm isnt that hard anymore and I believe Terran have more trouble vsing zerg in late game than vice versa.
High level: Anything can happen, all things are performed pretty high level, talking about around B - A rankers. Mechanics are well practiced. All races equal.
Progamer: ZvT just became hell for Zergs as terran's marine micro /macro becomes godlike. Zerg needs to do something special or be near perfect to perferm well while terran have a lot of room for mistakes. ZvP is hard ever since people like jaedong and July is here. TvP is the same thing as others because protoss these days can do w/e they want from proxying, 14 nexusing, or 2 base carriers. More hard for Terran in TvP.
