If the program is paging frequently, allocating more RAM will help, but probably the problem is with your video hardware just not being fast enough. If it is paging, though, free up more ram by closing other programs. Windows allocates as much memory as a program needs until there's no more ram to give, then it starts using "virtual memory" with the hard drive, which is literally thousands of times slower.

Huh. Does the integrated graphics use main memory? Ouch.

And it doesn't run WoW in the speed that I want it to. Currently in "enclosed spaces" it'll run very smoothly in 30-60 FPS but in big outdoor spaces it'll run at around 12-15 FPS, making play incredibly gay and choppy.

There's obviously some way to allocate more RAM to this game, it uses about 200mb, maybe 250mb max to run the program but I want it to run at 300mb or 350mb, making the game run more smoothly.

I was incredibly vague here but I hope you computer pros know what I'm talking about.

edit: The processor is Windows XP BTW even though it says Vista because my school decided to be smart for a change
