My form is perfect, my aim dead on... the pressure applied just enough. Clank. It hits the back of the rim or spins in and out. No matter how much I practice, no matter how good I become, the ball never goes in when it should. I hate my life. I hate this game.. the only game I've played for years but cannot reach the skill level I should. One week of playing CS:S to reach CAL level. 1 month of Starcraft to become C Iccup. 1 day to beat people constantly that have played Mario Kart for years. 1 month to be transferred from JV to Varsity football. Why does the only game I truly love spit in my face.. time and time again..........

I also would like to add I was about 2 inches from being able to dunk (pretty much my ultimate dream) and had attained a 375 lb squat (respectable) but suffered from a disk herniation about 2 months before attaining my goal (I was about 3 inches above the rim at that point and I'm 5'11). It took me about 15 months to recover from the injury but I won't give up. I am OakHill.

This may sound silly but after a while you just KNOW when your shot is going in. This applies to many things like, when you are playing Beer Pong or soccer, and u kick the ball or shoot in and you know your form was perfect for what should be a goal. When I have this feeling in pretty much anything I play it almost always go in, except in basketball where it will spin in and out or just barely graze the back and bounce out. I mean if it goes in and out how can the reason possibly be that I applied to much pressure? When it goes in and out or grazes the back I consider that shot in perfect form and I could have not shot it any better, and it should go in the damn hoop.
