UK ppl.4.7 equake feel it?

lol like 34 minutes ago (1:34 am now) i was just sitting around doin my own shit then my room started shaking and hear creaking noises im like ok whatever im used to this shit (cuz i live on the top floor of my house and whenever its really windy (which it was today) my room shakes) then suddenly my friends from the rest of UK start msning me and going like WTFWTF DID U FEEL TAT FUCK

so anyway yeah was a nice first earthquake experience

anyone else in the GREAT BRITAINZZ feel it?

felt kinda scary actually .. hmm

wiki says 4.0-4.9 occur ~6200 times a year cant believe it lol

Wow. There's some things I want to experience in my life and one of them is an Earthquake(top of the list being a Mushroom cloud rising in the distance... sadly, that dream isn't possible anymore due to the atmospheric testing ban in 1980?).

So, it wasn't major I presume? Just a little rumble that got everyone shitting bricks?

Earthquakes are neat. Another thing thats a little scarier are when military jets fly too low over residential areas. I live near a military base, and a jet broke the BLAH BLAH barrier, and there was like a shockwave following it, it felt like you were being hit from one side, and i was right next to a window and I was sure the glass was gonna shatter all over me.

Er, why did you say 'BLAH BLAH barrier'? The sound barrier? If it was traveling that fast, you were hit with a sonic boom.

well i live in Chile and we have earthquakes all the time, in a city called valdivia there was an earthquake that was 11.5 if i remember correctly, one ((if im not mistaken the most)) of the most powerfull earthquakes ever.

The biggest quake I've felt is 6.8, it was pretty crazy.

The Valdivia quake was 9.5, strongest ever recorded according to wiki.
