Second Chapter
Third Chapter
With time against you, you come to think that your best bet is to lure the psycho and make him face the zombies. That way, he and the zombies will be too busy minding each other to notice you as you make your escape.
As you think how you’re going to do this, you hear a yell at your back. You figure that time is running out for your, as the psycho is right behind you. Near the stairs, you see what could probably be the maintenance closet, where things get stored. So you yell at him –“IM HERE YOU IDIOT”-, and run at the door.
In a rush, you get into the closet and leave it just a bit open, so you can see whether is would be a good time to escape or not.
You notice that zombies start approaching to your location. This is going to get ugly, as there is no immediate escape route, only a small passage that will lead either to the exit or the stairs. Zombies are getting closer, closer…
As soon as they start running at you, you realize that you’re zombie food. Too bad, you wished this could end in a different way. But, just before they get you, they turn around, and start running. Through the small opening, you start seeing zombie hordes running into the police station. They seem distracted; this might be your chance. You grab as much air as you can with your lungs, and make a sprint towards the exit.
On your way out, you tackle one or two zombies, but they don’t mind you, they seem to busy running towards free food. You take a quick look at your back and you see only human parts flying around, and shitloads of blood. That poor bastard probably met his destiny.
Just before you reach the exit, you notice a handgun on the floor. You’re hesitant to grab it because zombies are still going through the door. Sadly, you got distracted enough by that gun, that a zombie grabs you and pushes you against the wall. You panic heavily. You can’t possibly know how you did it, but you drew enough strength to push the zombie away, and gave you enough time to grab the gun. As your head rises again, you see that the car is just about to be overrun by zombies, as it’s fully surrounded. You take a step, but you feel that a zombie grabs your foot. You try to get the zombie off, but before you achieve it, the zombie bites you.
As you free yourself from the zombie, you fire a shot at the zombie who’s currently occupying the door. As the zombie falls, all the zombies take a hungry look at you, but before they can run at you, you’ve made it safely in the car. Rodrigo seems relieved. However, you’re not.
Not only do you have a zombie infestation just right around you, you have a wounded mate, and you’re wounded yourself, except that your wound was inflicted by a zombie. You’ve only got a few hours, tops, if not less.
Whatever you’ll do next, your immediate reaction is getting the hell out of there. It turned to be a bad idea going to the cop’s station. You stick with the knife proved useless as a gun shot Rodrigo down and hindered your mobility. At least you’ve got yourself a real gun now. But the issue here is that you’re not expert in weapons, and you don’t know how many shots it will fire before you run out of ammo.
You both need to go to a hospital now. The problem is that you don’t know which hospital will be actually operational. It is likely that most of them have already been overrun by zombies. As you make a list of them in your mind, you come across with a med clinic that might not be zombificated; there is one that always had heavy security, because it was next to an important bank.
However, heading towards the hospital, you’re taking chances that it will be overrun as well, and only wasted precious time, and you don’t have much of it.
You also think of the possibility of looking for a friend of yours, Alma. For a quick minute you remember her beauty, she was hot, and she was always nice to you. A shame that you were gay at the moment and you wouldnt dare to make a move on her. The last you heard was that she was studying medicine; she was on her 3rd year of college so she probably can help you out. Her house was in a suburb outside the city, so there are chances that her house is clean.
Rodrigo suggest that you should go straight for the military base outside the city. There might be medics that could heal you both, and you’ll be safe because marines are well armed. You quickly tell him that the military camp near your house was overrun, but he tells you that it is unlikely they’ll be overrun too, because its outside the city, and it’s a military base, its way more fortified than the military camp and there is more people.
Your choices break into 3:
Poll: Where would you go?
(Vote): Search for the med clinic
(Vote): Try looking for alma
(Vote): Head to the military base
Pick carefully!
