for many years I really no longer work much on my channel anymore (catering to the algorithm or w/e), plus when youtube introduced the bell (all my subscribe is from before that feature since my channel is much older) It affected me the most and I lost most views that I usually can count on. The new view-time algorithm then think it's cuz my video suddenly suck all of sudden with much less view time, so it pushes it out lesser, a vicious circle. A little annoying consider I was there when YT was a baby and my type/age of channels are what built it up, and I didn't even get a heads up on anything. no one did.
But It's not something I rely on so it's more fun and relaxing, I don't get burnt out like so many recent larger creators do (and many quit, a whole big thing on YT, mass exodus) Because social media influencer is now more and more like a job, and competition so fierce, landscape often shift so fast and violently, you have to do so much work now just to make it and stay on top. (only so much eyeballs to go around). So i was lucky at the height of my activity when influencer was barely a thing, it was genuinely a dream job, complete freedom, lack of pressure, good compensation. Now, besides certain unicorn channels, it's hard work to become an "influencer" and stay on top.
okay, enjoy the videos. 1st one is more refined and smooth, 2nd a little more style.
