Game 1: I slipped a couple of times which resulted in less than ideal pin formations. I also got robbed, or so I thought, on a couple of strike balls that left 2 random pins standing when I was expecting them all to go down decisively. Despite that, I bowled solidly and ended up with a respectable score.
Game 2: Similar to the first, I continued to put up strikes and 9-spare with a couple of opens. One noticeable highlight was when I followed up a strike with a gutter ball (it just barely slipped into the right gutter haha). Luckily I cleaned up all the pins after that so it counted the same as a 9-spare would have. Also interesting to note was how I finished the game with a 4 bagger.
Game 3: I started strong with a spare and a turkey. By this point however, the bowling alley was getting kinda crazy with people yelling and music coming on. I started to lose my concentration, plus I was getting unlucky with splits. IIRC, 3 out of 4 frames in the second half were 8-split. Despite this my score wasn't too horrible.
Conclusion: Overall I did well, and most of my shortcomings can be credited to external influences, so I'm pretty happy. Let's see if I can keep it up next week.
