Agnostic Front - Peace
Agnostic front is a classic hardcore band from NYC, who have influenced alot of hardcore bands, also (trash)metal bands who influenced by hardcore, started playing faster and incorporated the agression and often socially aware lyrics into the music, instead of singing about dungeons and dragons.
Nowadays with heavy music being popular you can see a million american metal-core bands having strong roots in both metal and hardcore and fusing the two.
InControl is most likely the expert on the american scene regarding these kind of bands.
AF have been around since around 1982 and are considered legends; they gave birth along with some other early bands to the entire hardcore scene.
The cuban born singer Roger Miret's life has been full of turmoil, and he also spent 3 years locked up on Riker's Island outside of NY.
He is also the big brother of Freddy Cricien, vocalist for Madball!
