Sea Duckling Open. We have been running it all these years with the addition of new ones over time: Master Swan Open, Grand Platypus Open and Sparkling Tuna Cup. Especially the latest one, STC, has been growing with great success both in terms of participation and viewership. We are very thankful to everyone who has played or showed support for our events.A major part of our regular income are the DreamHack Masters streams and this season has not been the best for the Ducklings. For Atlanta we were invited to cover just the 4 days of Oceania & RoA / TWHK / China. For comparison, for Valencia we were not only covering the 4 days of Oceania & RoA / TWHK / China, but also 6 days of Europe / Latin America / North America. We are a bit disappointed about being overlooked but at the same time we trust ESL's decision.
Due to this, we have to be careful about our budget for the time being and we made the decision to put our tournaments on hiatus. If our situation improves, be it before or after Katowice, we will re-evaluate our finances and consider bringing the events back. In the meantime we will continue to cast other tournaments on our channel and explore new things to add for our community.
In regards to our pro team, we are prioritizing our players' salaries and look to fulfill our obligations until the end of World Team League season.
