Actually, there are more motives for it. Like waking up from REM, the theory that says the mind tests all body muscles at night, being sexual aroused etc. I didn't want it to sound like it's the only reason so maybe it's my fault, it's just that i've heard this too often and made jokes on the fact that sometimes men wake up with a boner and i feel all the time i have to explain it's not necesarily because he was having sexy dreams. I suffer of insipidous diabete and even though i have medication to keep my "water levels" under control (meaning how much water i drink) if i don't take my pills i'll most likely wake up 2 - 3 times a night to go urinate. Do you know how i get out of sleep? i dream that i want to piss and just can't (in the dream, i can't find a spot, when i find a spot i can't piss etc) and so i wake up and guess what, i have an erect penis  . My friend who has some kidney problem, also got to an urologist (i hope it's the right word in english  ), and the doctor told him the same thing about the erect penis in the morning (also known as morning wood in english). | ||
