EPTHere are some brief reports:
Game 1: Detonation
Oshibori (T) opens up at 7 playing his usual oshiboring signature terran. GTR (P) opens up at 2 and sends a probe down for a proxy gate right next to Oshi's base. However he only gets his pylon down at 9/9 with over 250 minerals.
Oshibori does a 12rax/gas and sends out 2 scvs to glitch thru the first wall for faster scouting.
As GTR's first zealot arives in Oshi's base it is fought off with scvs rines, a cannon attempt is also foiled. As oshis rines begin to attack GTR's proxy gate GTR taps out.
Oshi 1-0 GTR
Game 2: U-Boat2004
Oshi starts off at 7, GTR at 2.
Oshi techs up to a wraith into 4 goli drop while GTR goes for a DT drop. Oshis wraith passses the shuttle, but as Oshi only sees goons being lowered he chooses to scout out GTR first, after seeing his DT drop tech Oshi desperatley sends his wraith back and gets 4 golis on the edge of his island with 3 rines. The shuttle lasts just long enough to drop its 2 dts before it dies. Oshi taps out.
Oshi 1-1 GTR
Game 3: Luna
Oshi opens up at the bottom left spawn, and GTR at the bottom right. Oshi goes for a standard 12rax/gas build, while GTR goes for the standard 10 gate 12 gas etc.... however GTR gets a second gateway before range.
Oshi's 3 rines manage to drive off GTR's first goon, soon after oshi pushes out with a tank, 5 rines, and an scv and takes his nat, but is forced back a handfull of goons, and looses his rines.
GTR meanwhile gets 3 gates and zealot speed, and does a wierd 2 goon drop at Oshi's nat that kills 1 scv.
Oshi pushes with a sizeable force of tank vulture, but some dts take out his tnaks. While does a dt drop in oshis main, oshi sneaks ome vults in and does some damage to GTR's probes. It takes oshi quite a while to clear his main of 3 dts.
GTR moves out with 8 goons and stops at a safe distance outside of oshi's nat. Oshi starts to push out with about 14 vultures and 4 tanks and gtr is forced to move back a bit. With some stroke of luck 4 zealots fail to set off a single mine, and 12 vultures reduce the probes in GTR's nat to 2.
GTR then attempts to push ut with some goon/dt/temps But looses it to seige tanks and mines. meanwhile GTR drops oshis nat and manages to kill off the CC.
Oshi now gathers his forces and pushes towards GTR, however with some clever dt dropping he manages to last a bit longer before his probes are ravaged by Oshi;s vults and GTR taps out.
Oshi 2-1 GTR
Game 4: Enter the dragon2004
Oshi starts of at 11 and sends 1 scv out into GTR's main, and then a bit later another out to a bit above GTR's ramp for a in base proxy/out of base proxy BBS. GTR at 5 scouts after his pylon and meets oshi's second scv in the middle of the map. Upon entering oshi's base GTR steals his gas.
GTR does some scouting for a proxy but scouts oshis second rax after oshi has rines/scvs inside GTR's main. An intense micro battle of zealots and probes vs rines and scvs then insued. After about 2 minutes of nothing but instense micro oshi brings in 4 scvs.
in the end GTR is left with a handfull of probes, a zealot being made, and 29 minerals. now with jut a zealot and probe GTR's final zealot chases around 2 rines and an scv, kils 2 rines, but then finally is taken out.
With nothing left, GTR taps out.
