You've already read FakeSteve's and BroOd's plans to out-nerd each other in terms of Broodwar. Well, I just couldn't let a gauntlet tossing like that go by without dusting off my BW CD, doing a re-install, and slapping both across their ugly faces with a leather glove. Smell the glove!

I started playing this weekend and came to the following conclusions regarding ICCup:

1) It's a lot harder than I remember the later PGT seasons being. I thought I could play 30 games and make it to C. I was wrong.
2) I totally forget how to play BW, which may in turn explain some of point 1.
3) Somehow, Terrans have managed to become even more gay. If Terran had a soundtrack, it'd be mostly Coldplay - with some Jewel thrown in there because you're putting me to fucking sleep!. Play a PvT on Longinus and you'll see what I mean. Expo, turtle, expo, push top ground when 200/200, etc. Fuck you guys, seriously.

I had originally planned on linking some replays of my efforts but I forgot to do that while I was at home. My plans were not for vanity's sake, but rather for reasons of humor. I don't remember any build orders and I don't plan on learning any so most games are pretty random and end up being kind of funny. A lot of proxies, 14 nexus, etc. Good times.

Status:
Currently 24-9 with 3022 points and a C- rating. I had intentions of reaching C this weekend, but I lost too many games due to not being good at BW. I also can't make games and I hate spamming channels. The end result is that I join publicly hosted games, which are a crap-shoot at best. Constant bannings and people lying about ranks/ratings means it's often a long downtime in between games.
