I only know TB from the day he helped with my youtube competition thingy, but that's more than enough to show the character of this amazing individual. Been following his medical hardship journey a bit but it's always hard to read and know what's probably gonna happen, especially to good people.

hope to see some TLers there. There are usually not many people watching live drawing streams as they can be quite long and boring sometimes, but feel free to join and chat and hang out. I'm not sure where his fan base are and how to reach them otherwise I'll invite them to join. (maybe someone can help) But i know many are here on TL and I'm definitely one of them.

to people who showed up, thx for hang out with me through this stream. Between drawing, talking on discord with a few ppl, i missed a lot of comments and questions. But I think most of them are answered and I'm still just one person hehe. I don't want this whole thing to be too solemn and sad...there is already enough of that coverage around him. This is me purely focus on the positive influence he has had on me personally as well as the community at large. Given his sense of humor and love of games he probably wouldn't want anyone to be focusing too much on the sadness of his death but be happy about his life. So I retain mostly a cheerful tone throughout the stream. Thanks again to those who supported me through w/e means and I hope you find this stream meaningful.

I recommend posting this on reddit.com/r/cynicalbrit as that was his main community site. Might get some more traffic from there. Will try to tune in a bit from work, sounds great!

I hardly use Reddit, but it's really easy.
Usually there are limits against self-promotion, but there can be exceptions

1. Start your post titles with [OC] (for 'original content'). If it's good quality, ppl will overlook the self-promotion.

2. Target relevant sub-reddits. If it's relevant to that niche, they'll overlook self-promotion. I suggest:

Something I learned from an "Online Marketing" course I did (basically 'how to become internet famous, for profit') — your business depends on ppl seeing your stuff. The more people that see it (the more exposures), the bigger chances of converting loyal fans, to eventually have ones willing to pay for videos/commissions.

Reddit is a phenomenal place to get views. It's a link agregator. It doesn't host content itelf, it gets ppl to post links to external sites, and ppl vote on which links are most interesting. If you can get to the front-page, you can pull disproportionate views to channels which would otherwise not get that sort of attention.

I checked your channel, ok fine, you're already quite big and have some videos with seriously big views :D
But here are examples of the power of Reddit:
This video got 600k views from NO subscriber-base, simply because it made frontpage on Reddit.
This is my friend's channel, guess which videos got frontpage on Reddit. See the huge difference? https://www.youtube.com/user/Necrith/videos

TL;DR Reddit is a great vehicle to drive web-traffic, which is your revenue-source. It's easy to set up and use, and they would really appreciate that tribute video being shared over there, so go for it! :D
