Q: Please tell us a little bit more about yourself for those that are not familiar with you!
A: My name is Nikolai Tolstoy and I’m a cheesy Protoss player. I'm the kind of guy who gives Protoss a bad reputation. A lot of my cheese is homemade though so it's spicy and fresh. When I don't Starcraft I work as a nurse.
Q: You just recently joined team ePunks. What were your reasons, and how do you expect it to impact your Starcraft II career?
A: Very supportive team who helps me improve, especially the management is nice.
Q: How do you feel about your teammates and the fact that all players are danish? Do you think that this will be beneficial for the forthcoming of the team?
A: I believe it achieves a tight squad with high team spirit. I can count on my teammates to help me with practice and they can count on me.
Q: You are meeting up with your teammates at Copenhagen Games. What are your expectations regarding the results for this event?
A: I know my teammates well so I have prepared various different builds. It will be very "meta". I expect to win Copenhagen Games and any other results will be a disappointment.
Q: You just qualified for the group stages of the OSC Masters Cup, a 1000$ online event. What does this mean to you, especially looking at how difficult your part of the bracket was?
A: It feels great! It's always satisfying to do well especially in an OSC event. The competition will be stiff, with some luck I might make it to the playoff.
Q: Looking at the fact that you are the eldest player in the team, how does this have an impact on your practice schedule? Does it feel like you have to practice more than the others to maintain your level?
A: I'm not entirely sure how much the youngsters on the team practice. I would expect they practice a lot to catch up on all the years of a head start I had. Regarding my practice schedule I try to be more disciplined in my practice and spend more time theory crafting and studying replays, I feel like I have to at my age since it's hard for my old wrists to play all day.
Q: Do you have any specific goals for 2018? If so, how do you plan to achieve them?
A: My biggest goal is to get to ro32 in WCS Valencia this July.
Q: Do you want to say some words for your fans and supporters?
