I feel that it is undeniable that SOO is one of the best players who has ever played SC2. The sheer determination and grit that he has displayed throughout his career is almost unbelievable. For some players, they are a flash in the pan, they win one GSL and fail to replicate that success. But, in my opinion, true success in SC2 is consistency because you are above the balance, above the meta, above everyone else. This being his 6th finals is a testament to his fortitude and grit as a player. Many players fall by the waste-side, while it appears that through failure SOO finds strength. He personifies the statement, whatever does not kill you makes you stronger.
To an extent, it would be easy to suggest that SOO is scared of success and this is why he falls short at the finish line, however, this would be a discredit to him as an amazing player and to his opponents, who are also extraordinary players (Innovation, Stats, Zest, Classic). It is undeniable that SOO must be considered one of the GOATs. So in advance of SOO's victory on Saturday, I would like the community of Team Liquid to rally behind a player who deserves to finally slay his demons and take his pedestal at the pinnacle of SC2!!
Come on SOO, it's your time!!!!
