 ▶ Concept

Xel`Naga Fortress is created and reinterpreted as the Blizzard ladder map, Xel`Naga Cavern.
On the center, there is a Xel`Naga Tower, so it is very important to fight against enemy troops. And it is possible to fight by using the outskirts.

Xel`Naga Fortress is named by the reinterpreted map of Xel`Naga Cavern and the shape of fortress

 ▶ Features

This is the first 3-player map to be shown in StarCraft II.
Although it is similar to Xel`Naga Cavern, but there are the advantage or disadvantage of harassing using the air units.

I saw Crevasse and this map. I think they might be a bit small, but the visuals looks very appealing!

Looks like a smaller, tighter version of Merry Go Round but the aesthetics are much nicer.
Still, I'd hate to play TvT on this because of the inherent balance issues in spawning locations.

It was a beautiful take on Xel'Naga Caverns, and still is. It was really bold to do anything 3-spawn, but this turned out great for the time.

Since it's a LotV update of the original map I think it's fine as a blog.

The mineral lines. Crevasse also got the same treatment and a tileset update I think.
