Hi! I got into TL because of FPL, partly thanks to TheTemplar's recaps in round 1. Those have been a little rarer recently (TheTemplar is a busy man), so I figured that since I was thinking about FPL a lot, I might as well try to write about it. I ripped off the format from Templar, as you can see, with his quasi-permission. This is obviously not official TL material, just a fan's perspective. So without further ado:
Player of the week: Curious No surprises here--one ace match, one victor, eight points. Also, Curious is the 3rd most-owned player, meaning many people reaped the benefits. While he did play with his food a bit in the ace match, taking quite a while to kill Seed despite his early lead, his game vs HerO showed good control against a potentially dangerous all-in. And again, eight points is impossible to argue with.
Anti-player of the week: Journey 200 people anti'd Journey, making him the 4th-most popular choice. On top of that, 271 people bought Trap looking for easy money and (I assume) a favorable week 2 trade (myself included). This game was quite convincing: Journey swatted down Trap's DT harassment while dealing significant damage of his own.
Runner-up: BrAvO I was tempted to put BravO first, mostly because he took out Jin Air ace Maru in a nice mech vs. mech game on Cactus Valley. However, fewer people have him on anti, and fewer people have Maru on their main. That's little consolation to those who do, however -- at 9 points, you pretty much need Maru to win every week. BravO showed a chink in his armor. A small chink, and a very situational one at that, but it does exist.
Week 2 trade bait: YongHwa Given Choya's oddball tactic foolproof strategy do not question Choya tendency to rotate the MVP lineup, Yonghwa will probably play next week and his trade value is still fairly low, meaning many FPL-ers could pick him up. Then again, Seed was fielded for the ace instead of Yonghwa--which surprised me--and may be an indication of current form. Will you risk it?
Runner-up: Maru You know you want to trade Curious for Maru. Will you give in to the temptation?
Best team: Shairak

Shairak has a solid team with bets that paid off in DeParture and Panic/Blaze. In fact, it's only 4 points lower than the best possible team(s) (e.g. Curious, BravO, Dear, DRG, Sorry, Trust, Samsung, plus Seed and any two 0-point-earners on anti, though there are other combinations that give 31 points). Well done!
Worst team: TechFour

Oh man, the feels. This one hurts because the main team looks ok on paper: a good mix of the regulars from SBY, MVP, and PRM, with JAGW as the money-making team. This team should be in the middle of the pack, not dead last. Unfortunately, TechFour (presumably) went to bed before Creator's exit from Prime was announced. Also unfortunately, Jin Air tanked vs. Samsung, and even though Sbenu and MVP went to the ace match, none of the players on TechFour's team won (admittedly some were not playing). The anti is the terrible icing on this terrible cake. Better luck next week!

Trading is open -- Curious' value is 47.78, Maru's is 46.29. Tempting, isn't it? I already have both Maru and Curious It would be tempting otherwise though, Curious is stomping so many noobs back to Code A
Ah, gotcha. I was going to suggest soO next, but you already have him too! Your team is in good shape. I had Curious in my first draft, but decided that Trap was a safer bet. Ouch.
