EPTI will become 18 years old before this week ends, and it makes me realize how much of my life has been invested in this beautiful game. In honor of that I have decided to make a power rank of my top ten favorite players from all of StarCraft 2.
Honorable Mentions
These are players that I have either recently or long ago have come to enjoy. These also include my picks for the next big players of 2015.
Cure
Jin Air Green Wings new terran hope. He saw some success towards the end of 2014 with a semis in the GSL and a runner up at RBBG Finals. Assuming SKT continue to NOT bring out dream, this guy will be the next greatest terran.
Dark
Corruptors are good. So is this guy. Need I say more?
MC
Who couldnt love this guy? The original king of protoss and for about 2 years was the only protoss to win a GSL (and he even won 2).

10. Keen

The king of lings is amazing. I remember when he first became relevant- TSL 4. Ya, who remembers that tournament? (Creator beat Life in finals and Keen took third) After that LIfe won everything, GSL MLG Iron Squid MLG etc. LIfe became a god. Life always finds a way

8. Stephano
If you don't love this guy, you are an asshole. The greatest non-korean and one of the greatest all time starcraft 2 players, stephano revolutionized the game over and over. First it was ling infestor. Then it was max roach at 11 minutes. Then it was roach hydra. Stephano was an incredible player at his prime...then EG happened....

7. PartinG
The Big Boy is a Big Badass. Parting is incredible in so many ways. His attitude, his playstyle. His soul. I mean, did you see his execution and micro vs FlaSh at HSC finals? Incredible. This guy changed starcraft as we know it, and we are truly lucky to have him

6. Polt
A year, maybe a year and a half ago, this guy would have been WAY high up. back when he was on TSL and was the king of all things TvZ polt was one of the greatest most entertaining players on Earth. He is still fantastic...but beating Jaedong ByuL and Scarlett isnt the same as squaring off with DRG in '12.

5. San
For those of you who know me, this is a huge surprise I bet. For those of you who don't know, I am the second biggest SANFAN in the world (after TaeJa ofc). Despite my love for San, I can't put him any higher, because I truly dont love san above all other progamers. Dont get me wrong. San is a god. He single handedly caused the greatest nerf in all of Starcraft 2, the removal of khaydarin amulet. Of course, for a long time I really had no respect for San. In 2012-early 2013 I thought he had retired. And then he came back with a vengence and in ASUS ROG he 3-0'd DRG and HyuN to face his friend TaeJa in the finals...thats when I began to notice him. The rest is history. I just hope Curious stops putting himself in so we see a shitload of San in PL.

4. Scarlett
Im pretty sure I was a fan of scarlett before it was mainstream. What really got me interested was WCS Canada 2012 (ofc there were earlier inklings, IPL 4 etc). Before long I, along with DRG decided that Scarlett was better than stephano. She hasnt truly reached that stage yet, but some of the series she has against Korean terrans are unbelievable. Her muta control and creep spread are top notch and she produces some of the greatest games in esports.

Okay...I am willing to say that of all the players on this list this guy is the best of them all. His strategies are brilliant in every single way. His builds are incredible and entertaining. He is the only player to kill fan favorites only to garner more fans in the process. He is the heartbreak protoss. He is a blizzcon champion. He is sOs.

The guy I liked longer than anyone else in Starcraft 2. My affection goes all the way back to "dont worry, tahts halo." and him winning in every game husky made a video of in the early days. His victories in the early years of Wings are incredible and are amongst those I will never forget. So why isnt he number one anymore? Because the last 2 and a half years is why. After taking 4th in the MLG winter championships in March 2012 HuK has only had one premier top 4 finish (at a red bull event this year). But cmon, its freaking HuK

Though his streak just ended he holds the record for the longest streak of GSLs attended in a row (14 if I'm correct). Not to mention its pretty funny when he tries to speak english :D
