EPTA week has passed since I made that post. I've gotten completely swamped by invites , whispers, coaching requests. It's been pretty great! With the overwhelmingly positive feedback I'm going to keep going for sure. In the past seven days I've met just above players that I've coached and gotten feedback from, so that's a win in my book!
Here`s a quick recap of where I`m at right now:
- Got my stream set up very nicely, have an overlay from my team and my webcams set up!
- Maintaining this blog every Tuesday is my objective, so you should be hearing from me often
- I've created a CSL team for my school, I've gotten a few new players in to the game ^^ which is always a good thing!
- Am accessible in game on my main DIRESTRAIT.632 #1618 for any questions, coaching, comments, etc. I'm currently doing tons of coaching atm.
- I've also had to do a lot of learning in all 3 matchups to answer some of the less obvious questions : "when is it normal for Terran to take their 3rd gas?"
Here are the next steps:
- I'm working to get a consistent stream schedule, for example my girlfriend is coming over for a few days and I won't be able to stream until Friday night, that will prove problematic in the future unless I have a good plan.
- I`m looking at Youtube, I`ve created an accoutn and I'm gauging the demand for content and what kind.
- I'm looking at ways to build the community in lower leagues, I've heard people talk about tournaments for bronze/silver/gold + and also a chat channel people could meet in and discuss / ask questions
- Creating a thread for my stream is also on the list
The feedback I've gotten so far has been extremely positive. People are really enjoying the coaching and like having a reference they can easily ask questions to and interact with. My stream seems to be what you guys enjoy the most because of how interactive it is compared to a Youtube video.
I'm feeling great about everything so far. The feedback has been good and everyone seems to be enjoying it. I have a general idea of where I'm going and everything seems swell.
What I need from you guys :
I want feedback, if you've tuned in to my stream and thought of something you'd like to see. If you have a cool idea for the community and you need a partner. If you think I'm being a total dunce and you have a constructive way to critique it.
