No, I think I do get it - Naniwa decided unilaterally that he just didn't want to stand up to his part of the contractual agreement he entered, and just took a giant poop on his employers, the community, and his fellow pro's - mainly as a selfish show of defiance. I've issued plenty of contracts to staff in the past, and I've never seen such a blatant misunderstanding of the concept of professionalism as this. Naniwa even said it - he didn't see it as a job. To him it was more like a glorified hobby. I wonder if his employers saw it not as a job offer, or themselves as business operators? I wonder if his employers actually realised they were indulging a child in his hobby, and yet, at the same time, paying him?

I don't know what's happened in the last year and a half and I don't really care... Naniwa, you were always one of my favorite players who I always tried to emulate you and huk with my ladder play. You are, and forever will be, awesome.

Or did you make your judgment without actually reading?

I hope Starcraft finds its way back into your life with a vengeance some day so you can reign supreme as the king of the foreigners once again. I know that the "best foreigner" title is like a cheap consolation prize to you and that is why you have been my favorite player <3

Regarding the quote itself saying if they were better than him they would have qualified is meaningless considering he said himself that he had not played for 1-2 months before the tournament, it does not matter how good you were months ago when you qualified, he was in no position to play and then dissed other players for not being good enough when anyone else would have done better than he did.

Good to know you haven't changed at all though. I'm glad we have 57-post guy to let us know what is good for the community and determine the value of someone's entire legacy.
