"I am still the guy who loved / loves starcraft more than anyone else considering the amount of time and effort i put into the game"

Seeing that part being quoted so often - I do not think you're the one who practiced most out of all Starcraft players out there. Your attitude towards people sucked, and reading this blog just adds insult to injury. You're not even putting in the effort of using proper grammar or punctuation, and the blog reads more like a five minute "I'm done take it or leave it" than a real message to your fans. Godspeed on your way, and please do not come back.

No! NO! This CANNOT BE TRUE!

You represent, not only Sweden but all foreigners in SC2, if not e-sports in its entirety! You have to make a comeback in Lotv and take back the throne as the single best foreign player. You have inspired me through out your whole career.

Tonight we shed a tear for the best foreign player in star craft 2 ever. Please come back!

Best regards from Sweden

The way he handled the situation? ...

that's not a reason.
to clarify i am wondering why/ for what reason he is feeling sorry since he only explains why he is not sorry.

You are a bit stupid. Try to semi-carefully read the sentence Naniwa wrote. He is very sorry for HOW THINGS WENT DOWN AT THIS EVENT.
That means, he is regretful about this whole scenario. Stop being a smartass. Hopefully you calm your ignorance and your flatout fake "superior and more intellectual being" bullshit.

Nani was a great player and his actions displayed that he did not care about other people's respect or opinions towards him. He just wanted to be the best. I guess the best way (for a player) to deal with the spotlight is to be yourself and just don't care.

People will tolerate IdrA hoping for an opponent to die or Stephano "joking" about raping a girl. However they cannot cope with the disrespect of Naniwa. I don't get it. Just yesterday Innovation played four times proxy12rax (Destiny1) he robbed Major of showing his skill versus a top player and disappointed all fans hoping to see Innovation's skill. Where is the hate post about that? Despite people's actions, Nani's actions are consequent. Doing the probe rush took guts and shows his character. If there is no point in playing. Don't play.

p.s.: Yes, this topic made me create an account, because Nani deserves to make me raise my voice.

I think most Starcraft (and Blizzard games in general these days) are a bore but Naniwa had an exciting playstyle and a likeable personality. Let's remember that.

Why would you hate a player that uses legit game tactics to win a game, overcoming his lag-enforced disadvantage with a solid allin? you're salty.

So you're saying the game that this website is about is boring while having an account here and you're also saying that one of the most insulting progamers of that game has a "likeable personality"? Not sure if trolling.

It seems like you want to get me wrong. You know exactly what I mean and how "legit" this tactics is - four times - in a row. He did not complain of lag and strangely there were macro games, c'mon stop that pointless nitpicking. And where did I state "I hate" anyone? I just said it's something that might be considered disrespectful.
However the way people chose what is disrespectful obviously depends on sympathy.

Basically i will try to write down my perhaps final thoughts about starcraft 2,

I realise now after reading alot of the comments that my random tweets who i thought were harmless actually just sound bitter and negative ( which they obviously were ) but i didnt really think it through as deep as you guys did. I am still the guy who loved / loves starcraft more than anyone else considering the amount of time and effort i put into the game . For starters i know that i have alot of haters and i dont really care about that , i am not gonna be a little girl and make an AMA to make you people on the internet like me. But i just want to write my opinions once so i dont have to see people speculating anymore .

I will probably not come back to sc2 even at legacy of the void because i feel like the best way to compete in sc2 is to train in korea and i have no passion to go there again as it was extremly mentally draining and the only reason i could endure it was because i had Sase and Snute to talk to on the later trips. Also swarmhosts made the game so incredibly boring in my opinion.... but yeah im sure you already know my opinion on that already so no need to go there.

Iem katowice.

How this event was handled by me was probably one of my biggest dissapointments.

Let me make it clear that i had no intention of going to this event at ALL, I only went because my team forced me to go.

I hadnt played a single game of starcraft one - two months prior to this event because i felt absolutely zero love for the game at this point unfortunately
and im not the kind of guy who can force myself when i lose passion for something. because starcraft to me is not a job, it never was a job. + Show Spoiler +
its always been my life and something i loved so much. During my peaks in the game i played around 12-16 hours every day and when i slept i thought about strategys so its not really like i can force myself to do this as im sure you can understand its not an easy feat.

If i had the chance to do it all again, I would definitly rather take a fine from EG / ALLIANCE than go through with what actually happened again. I am very sorry for how things went down at this event, not because i felt like someone else deserved the spot more , because they did not since i qualified through it fair and square. if they were better than me then they wouldve qualified but because i want to show my best condition to everyone whos watching, and most importantly im sure you all know i took a great amount of pride being a player and i want to live up to my own expectations.

I appreciate you as a player who plays for the love of the game, and I do agree and understand most of what you said. BUT, there is still this one point on which I disagree. As long as you're earning money from it, it's a job and you have to deal with it, or your don't get the money.

I don't think you've heard of the phrase, "to each his own"... words are subjective, and many of those out there have chosen to give the word "job" a different connotation from the norm. yes, a job is something "you're earning money from" but it doesnt have to be. in a more economic perspective, a job could just be something you're going to do regardless of pay. but, because you're getting paid you enjoy it even more: utility gained exceed the cost you're putting in. to naniwa, the game was his passion and for the years that he has spent, it continued to be his passion. it wasn't a job (per-say) to naniwa, however, it soon became a 9-5 grind (and longer since progamers work 24hrs); and that's when it became a JOB.
