I'm pretty sure this classifies as him "seeing the error" of how he handled it, maybe it doesn't go into too much detail, but he claims responsibility, expresses remorse and apologizes to his fans.

I can kind of understand how you feel, Naniwa. You want to be the best, no matter what it takes, not just "the best foreigner". And to do that requires a huge number of sacrifices, like playing 12-16 hours (all or at least most of the top Koreans practice this much) and it probably does require playing in Korea. That last thing is incredibly hard to do if you're not Korean and don't know the language and the culture. I've seen people recommend that foreigners learn the language, but how easy is that to do if you're practicing 12-16 hours a day?

But maybe there's hope. Maybe if enough Koreans come to live in Europe it will improve the ladder enough that being the best no longer requires living in Korea. Maybe Swarmhosts will disappear in Legacy of the Void.

Maybe you'll come back. I hope so. You were pretty awesome to watch.

I think this should clear up the remaining "hate" about Naniwa.
At first I was very negative about his actions but time cured most of the disappointment.
It was very similar to reactions to Idra right after his retirement.
Now just like Idra, I think Sc2 community should accept his "feelings" (more appropriate than apology) and move on from the incident.

Someone proxy 2 gated me on ladder yesterday. I was a little angry at first, then i remembered all the incredible naniwa proxy 2gates and was actually happy. You were not only the best foreigner and one of the best players, but one of the most entertaining players to have ever played this game. Hoping youll come back anyway. You were my favourite player, not at first but you earned it with your play.
