I understand why a lot of players are attached to ICCUP but this might be exactly what foreign BW needs. It's got me so pumped to play this weekend .

Reasons I've had accounts banned: - saying something in a gosugamers.net thread about iCCup - banning someone from my private channel who was also an admin Yes, both accounts were eventually back, the first because it got deleted for inactivity and I remade it, the other one because I've sent a PM to a non-abusive admin about the issue. If you're just blacklisted that will count for your computer / IP (I supposse), so you could play from a remote place. But don't forget, that may result in your city/state/country/continent/planet getting banned, because why not.

I don't think it's in their rules (but may be, I haven't read them in 2 years or so), but that won't stop them from anything. Or better yet, the whole /8 and leave everyone with the same beginning octet angry?

I'm not saying I agree/disagree with the ban, but that just seems to be the way things are. I know that we don't ban people for that on gosugamers. If people say something about our admins on the site which is a straight on insult it will result in a warning/temporary block, but if you do so on other sites, it's not really a problem.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind banning the entierty of Slovenia considering that our population is so low. This whole affair stinks to be honest, but I assume people probably don't want to stir up even more drama and/or risk getting banned themselves. I'm not saying you're a liar or anything like that, but in general I find that it's not a good idea to start throwing shit at people when you've only heard one half of the story. I definitely agree, but there was a reason why Gecko got banned... And the thread I linked is basically pretty indicative of what kind of attitude he holds against anybody that disagrees with him and critiques anything he does/likes. He also went through the trouble of getting my ICCUP account (Checking past leagues I've played in etc etc). Seems pretty personal to me and a decision that shouldn't be made when representing an organization.
