It's Thursday, which means a new episode of Tara Tactics! This week's show is completely different, and I am trying some new stuff!
This week we talk about:
I talk about some things you need to keep in mind in order to create a favorable engagement, which was one of the hardest things for me to do personally. Here are a few highlights:
1. Gauge an engagement before entering, and decide if you should back off.
2. Consider all of the other benefits you or your opponent has like high ground, a concave or surround, etc.
3. I play an interactive game with you guys too, to see if you can tell which armies will win!
I'd love to hear what you guys think about how am I doing, not only as a convey-er of StarCraft tips in terms of what I am teaching, but also how I am doing it!
NOTE:
These tips are for low to mid level players who are trying to get up to the last couple of leagues, so they are somewhat basic. Also, I am only a Platinum level player, so I have Masters and Grandmaster players helping me with the tips. Can't be saying things that are too silly!
ABOUT TARA TALKS
I'm now collaborating with Zoomin.TV Games (a YouTube channel with over 300,000 subs) to bring little StarCraft II tips and gaming news to a mainstream gaming audience. I am on a mission to help new players get into competitive SC2 gaming!
I give the news, let people know what I think, then I relay a small StarCraft tip that I wrote with the help of high-level friends, and gameplay I recorded (for the most part). I hope you guys enjoy the content!
