You are new to this blog or missed the last couple of posts?
If you are new you should check out my first entry in which I explain the concept of this blog.
If you missed the last few entries just go to my blog and check out the missed posts.
You should also make sure to follow our Twitch.tv channel as we are streaming our practices from Sunday to Thursday at 7pm British Time.
Sorry that all the recent blogs have been online quite late but for some reason I always lose my motivation to write the blog entry after practice so usually I plan on writing it the next day.
(and a lot of times I forget it completely )
Yesterday's practice was on one hand really successful as we managed to win all of our games and finally bumped our TMM rating up to 3k (this is still horrible considering that we stomp people with 3.3k+ ratings..And when saying stomping I actually mean it.
But on the other hand it was really just a complete fail.
Not only because I started to show my old lazy style of captaining again (to be fair..I was watching football^^) but also because the games were never longer than 15 minutes because people just left afterwards/dc'ed. This meant we did not really get a lot of practice out of the games and won even though we did not nearly show how well we can play.
I really hope that we find some better opponents today because I want to prove that I can be a good player and captain again and don't disappoint my team mates by showing bad captaining and playing skills.
Writing about this the pickup of Bamboe by EG comes to my mind.
Many people describe him as a high risk high reward kind of player and I think in some way I am the same.
I either feed like a total noob and lose us the whole game (which hasn't happened in a long time btw..) or I just make their tri-lane look like a bunch of noobs not able to control a single person.
The only problem I got with this is that in my opinion this style of play is nothing but a whole bunch of shit.
NaVi like to say that you should not take a game to the late game because it is so risky and based on chances.
And I really like the way they think about it.
Why take a risk if you can just make sure?
And this is exactly what I do. I take the risk of dying just to get this one bit of extra last hits or experience.
Of course, if it succeeds I look very pro and all but often times I just start feeding and straight up lose my lane.
As of yet I am not sure if I should try to change my style or just live with it and make the best out of it.
I am not even sure if it is possible to completely change the style of play as it is very much related to my personality.
Anyways..Thanks for reading again and I hope you got a good understanding of our and my current situation.
